Hi Kendall! Thunk! You won't find this funny when you get older, but right now you break into laughter when uncle John pretends to walk into walls and say "thunk"! I love to hear you laugh - it warms my heart. Your daddy shared a very funny story with me yesterday that you will appreciate when you are older. He said you bit his hand when you were playing together. When he asked you what you did, you said, "Kendall bite Daddy. Kendall chair timeout." Your daddy didn't say anything, but you sent yourself to the timeout chair for biting him. Then you proceeded to throw a tantrum because you had to sit in the chair. You finally calmed down and began to play again as if nothing had happened. Meanwhile, your daddy was just smiling as he watched this whole charade, thinking what an independent and willful young child you are, acting as judge, jury, and the wrongfully convicted all by yourself!

Hi Kendall, sweetheart! I just typed a note from Lucy to you. If you don't know by now, you'll learn that Lucy is a stickler for proper grammer and punctuation. I prefer to type as if I were speaking and I don't pay attention to those things, so, of course, I made a mistake in Lucy's note. Kendall, you are my angel pie! I love going down to North Carolina to play on the swingsets and slides with my only grandchild. I just had a lovely Thanksgiving dinner with Shea and John, but missed seeing you and your Mom and Dad. But you had a very special Thanksgiving in Burlington with your great grandmother, Ma, your great aunt, Sandra, your great uncle, Tom, your uncle Boyd, and your dad. Kendall, You are an ADORABLE little baby girl- enjoy your years now - they dont get any easier. Maybe you will have an easier time with physics since your grandpa is a whiz! Don't expect him to give you the answers though...he won't. He'll put you in a good direction, but then you have to figure it out for yourself. - best way to learn! If you ask him how to tie your shoe, he will probably tell you something like..." well, you know that the strings have to go underneath one another, and the gravitational pull on your foot will help to keep it stationed- oh and here's a picture of someone tying their shoes..." but you're the one who is going to have to grab those laces like reigns and figure it out for youself. One other thing - you are very lucky to have your very own web page already - I've got 23 years on you plus my own computer and I dont even have a web page yet! Well, kiddo, i will have graduated (if I ever get out of grampa's physics class) just after your third birthday, but I may come and check ya ba ck out after a while to see the updates as Im sure grampa will have updated your webpage dozens of times by then!!!
